Parapsych: Chapter 01

The story follows the main character: Fae as she tries to reconcile with the loss of her brother. The the story opens up with the last job before Fae and Cho would hit the bottom of the barrel. It turns out, an alien life form is on the planet. The alien stows away onto the ship and attacks the two crew members, rendering both Cho and Fae unconscious in the struggle. The next thing both know, they're in a medical ward with the missing brother - all three of them are alive and well. Fae, wanting to have her brother back, does not question it past a worrying feeling. As the story progresses, the ability to ignore the oddities and the growing concerns voiced by Cho about the strange occurences begin to weigh on the main character. To make things even more of a problem, the universal government is tracking down our intrepid heroes and the creature parading about as Fae's brother after having picked up their own creature from the same planet. The new creature is not only dedicated to finding the mimic of Fae's brother, but is also dead set on the destruction of a seemingly unrelated race called the "Luxen". The story culminates in a potential universe ending scenario where everything might rest squarely on Fae having to accept the reality of the situation. All characters in the story are based off of aquatic-style or lizard life forms. Fae is based off of an Axolotl. There are 16 chapters to the story with the possibility of both a prologue and a continuation of the story. 15 of the chapters have been written and directed. There has been an audible dub of the story which is available on YouTube for those interested.
