Hazem AmeencreatorI'm a freelance illustrator currently based in India, and work on comics and graphic novels on my downtime as personal projects. Currently I'm working on the 'Headless Horselord', an action fantasy graphic novel written by indie author Deepak Thomas and illustrated by myself.
The ancient kingdom of Dakshina has fallen. Man eating beasts prowl the land, and the once beloved King has turned into a monstrous king of demons. And yet fighting against the monsters is a brooding Headless Horselord, and his brother- a talkative decapitated head. Together they will set out to reap vengeance on the Monster king, for they both know of the dark past they share with their foe.
The world is one inspired by Medieval India, a fresh take on the fantasy genre. Dakshina was once a prosperous and mighty kingdom, a pious center of Adi-dharma (our version of Buddhism) until Indra, the once beloved King sacrificed his subjects in a mysterious unholy ritual. This has opened a portal to the underworld, where man eating monsters now savage the kingdom, and Indra rules as the Monster King. But all hope is not lost, for felling monsters and saving hapless monks is one of these monsters-a headless horselord. He is hellbent on taking down the monster king, for reasons only known to him and his brother-a talkative decapitated head. Together they will make unlikely friends, meet old lovers and uncover the dark bond shared between the horselord and the Monster King.
