Maybe

The concept may be somewhat tropey, but I like the concept. Art looks solid and expressive. The story hook would lead me to reading the first issue. I'll be interested in seeing how the moral dimension maps to the action. That said, the pitch could hint at the primary conflict better, and the visuals could push the drama and atmosphere further, but there’s a lot of potential here.

Interested in seeing more of the sequential art here, once it's finished. I think I got an idea about the world, but based on the pitch (for me) I wasn't sure if this was from the perspective of the humans surviving (which felt like most of the pitch), or from the main character getting to know the dynamic between the vampires and the undead. I assume you're setting up the world, but I would be more interested in the story itself, what kind it is, who is the main character and what are their struggles/wants. But that's just me. Art looks promising, though, and I thought the writing in the short sample was good. :)

Loved the start of this - you set up the characters and their backstories well in just a couple of pages, and the way Fae and Cho interact is great. The artwork is nice, it's really great to see such different character designs.

Thanks, Luke. Appreciate the feedback. I know this pitch is a bit "thin". I struggle a bit with giving folks a glimpse, but not revealing too much. Our writer, Adam, is great with characterization and development, so you're spot on. We think that makes for a great story - investing in the characters. However, our protagonist is not as reluctant as it might seem, and I think you'll find that in the realm, he is still very much the hero. In fact, I'd say his reputation precedes him. Stay tuned for more.

Reading these first two pages, I believe you have a good writer and artist team - the pencils are nice, the dialogue rolls well. Unfortunately nothing stands out to me at this point to make me believe this is any different from the usual "reluctant warrior becomes a hero once again". I have the feeling that your character work is going to be what makes this shine, so let me know a bit more about them :)

This is a clean start - artwork and colors are nice, and I enjoy a good fantasy so the premise intrigues me enough to want to look further. I would suggest relooking at your main cover - Tomas (couldn't quite read his name in the concept art as the buttons covered it) has no drama to his pose, expression, or even any idea on what he's looking at. As the main focus for the eye, he needs to really jump out of the page.
